ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN - POSITION AVAILABLE

Small animal experienced veterinarian with valid UAE veterinary license required for American Veterinary clinic in Abu Dhabi. We have full-time and part-time, veterinary surgeon and veterinary technician positions available - responsibilities, and salary based on experience, training and skill set. English language fluency required.

GROOMER - No positions available at this time

Experienced full time groomer (cats and dogs) required at the American Veterinary Clinic in Abu Dhabi.  Excellent work environment with a supportive and diverse team.  English language fluency required.  Salary commensurate with experience.

RECEPTIONIST - No positions available at this time.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, over the counter sales, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.

This challenging and rewarding, full-time position requires a very positive attitude, and an ability to work in a busy multi-cultural environment.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN - POSITION AVAILABLE 

Technicians are responsible for assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, performing some medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, and assisting in the operating room. 

Veterinary or veterinary technician educational background required.

ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT - No positions available at this time.

Responsible for animal handling, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, running lab work, and assisting the doctors and technicians.

Applicants must have experience working with and handling dogs and cats.

DRIVER - No positions available at this time.

Full-time position for valid UAE manuel driving license holder.  Duties include:  transporting pets from one location to another, airport collection/delivery and document processing of traveling pets, minor administrative duties, general errands.  Hours are variable.  Successful applicant will have a very positive attitude and a willingness to work with animals.

KENNEL HANDLER - No positions available at this time.

Responsibilities include the care, handling, and feeding of owned dogs at the AVC Kennels in Mussafah.  Must have experience working with animals and be comfortable around dogs.  Shared on-site accommodation provided.  Male applicants only for this position.  Cover letter and CV can be mailed to the below address or to:  kennels@americanvet.ae
